The name "Guaranty of Sanity" was inspired by a phrase used in Louise Bourgeois' work of the same name. Just as Louise Bourgeois found affirmation of her sanity through art, the clothes we create serve as tools to affirm our own sense of sanity. By channeling emotions such as joy, anxiety, and pain into the medium of clothing and fashion, expressing them outwardly, and revisiting them, we come to understand ourselves and find healing.
Through this process, we hope our clothing transcends mere necessity and becomes a tool that reveals and witnesses the unspoken, hidden aspects within the wearer.
